If there are two essentials every woman needs in her wardrobe it’s a classic blouse + lace pencil skirt.  There’s something so sleek about a blouse + pencil skirt. These silhouettes can begin to feel boring after a while and I found some really darling pieces that are still classy but on trend.

I finally found the most flattering and chic pencil skirts and it’s only $22!  I love how the underlay hits right above the knee and the lace overlay extends below the knee.  It’s quite fitted since it is a pencil skirt. The picture on the website shows a really long lace overlay but I find most other pictures I saw to be like the length I’m wearing. For me, it was true to size and I ordered the xs.

The second wardrobe staple is the classic blouse. The blouse is perfect for work, church, or any dressy occasion. I chose one with a lace top detail- it adds a twist on an everyday essential.
