la vie est belle…

This little Parisian inspired bow tie floral blouse had me daydreaming of the French phrase la vie est belle… life is beautiful.

It’s so easy to get caught up in a world that is always so fast paced and social media driven.  Don’t get me wrong, I am a total social media lover and it can be a very powerful tool… But sometimes I think it can become all overwhelming especially when it feels like many live with their eyes attached to a screen.  Lately, I’m trying to be aware of how often I spend on my phone.  Think about it… if you go through your day with your head down in your phone all. the. time. Then how are you supposed to enjoy the things around you in the present.  You will never get that moment back again so enjoy it and live in the moment because life can really be beautiful.  I love to sometimes set a certain amount of time aside to shut my phone off and just live! It can be so tough to do this at times because I LOVE connecting with all of you on my social media accounts.

And this motto doesn’t just have to apply to make life beautiful for yourself… you can make it for others too.  I’m vowing to myself that I’m going to do 3 good deeds each day. Whether it’s paying someone a compliment on their cute top or holding the door for someone… I want to be aware of those around me & make their day a little brighter.  Not only does this feel great for them but you feel fulfilled as well!
