I am so excited to finally share my living room with all of you! I have been waiting to share until I had the entire room decorated the way I wanted it! I went with marble and champagne gold accents with pops of pink floral. I’ve mixed some luxury items with some very affordable pieces as well (actually most of the pieces are very affordable!). All details are listed below each photo so you can easily shop.
One of the first pieces I picked out was the marble coffee table. I absolutely love the size of it– fits the size of the room so well. Also, with the shape of the sectional, I couldn’t do a rectangular coffee table because it would be too tight of a fit. A few tips for decorating a coffee table: Don’t over crowd the table with clutter– you definitely want to add pretty pieces for interest but don’t get carried away. I went with a gold mirrored tray to section off the centerpiece and candles so it would always have a spot. The rest is just a candle that I burn for the day and some magazines or cute looking catalogs. The key for the books on the table is that they should flow with the theme of the room otherwise, it looks like random clutter. I always find really cute coffee table books here. And that’s it for the coffee table!

This section might be one of my favorite sections of the room. I actually just recently added the marble/gold shelving. A little heads up for the shelves- they are quite heavy. My dad installed them for me because A. they are just way to heavy to hold and B. I have never picked up a power tool!! But now that they are up and decorated, I absolutely love them. For styling these shelves, it’s the same as the coffee table. Don’t be afraid to mix + match textures and colors that complement each other. Instead of doing two of the same colored frames, do something different. I went with the washed grey wood and champagne frames.
Now this next tip for staying in a cohesive theme may seem like much but it definitely worked well for me and that is to add black + white personal photos especially when the colors in the photos clash with your theme.

Once I added these 3 frames with the graphic prints, the room came so much more to life! I love the graphic print idea because they are so inexpensive to print and can easily be switched out. The key is to attach the frames to the wall with these sticky strips from Command. I have never had a problem removing them from the wall.
