How Do You Gain Early Access to The Sale?
Nordstrom cardholders get exclusive early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Shopping early is the best way to make sure you get the items you want before they sell out…the good items always do! I signed up for the Nordstrom card a few years ago and highly recommend it if you shop at Nordstrom often. Not only does signing up for the card get you early access to shop, but you also receive extra bonus notes throughout the year and earn more points per dollar spent. What is The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale only happens once a year. During the sale you have the opportunity to purchase new arrivals for the upcoming season at a discounted rate. Nordstrom partners with hundreds of brands to be able to offer these pieces at a great price. They will have everything from home decor to fashion staples, and everything in between. The incentive is that you get the before the season starts so that you can actually use them all of fall and winter. Will these items eventually go on sale? Yes. But it usually is not until January and stock or sizing is usually very limited if it’s a hot item.
Is it Worth The Hype?
The short answer, yes! So many of my core wardrobe staples that I’ve had for years are ones that I purchased during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. My advice is to not get wrapped up in the craziness of the sale, but instead enter it with intention and think about where you want to invest your money. It’s a great time to purchase designer pieces as a discount or stock up on gift for Christmas.

- Mark your calendar and set your clocks for July 28th at 3 am EST!
- Clean out your closet! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to invest in pieces for the upcoming season. They will have so many great sweaters, boots, jeans, coats and more! I like to peak at what I already have, what I’m in need of and if there is anything I might need to replace. This helps me to stay in budget as well.
- Browse the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview Book and add items to your wishlist. The must-have items will go quickly so having them in one place to shop is best. I would also recommend going ahead and saving you payment to your Nordstrom account so that you can check out quickly.
