The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is my favorite sale of the year. I’ve been shopping this sale even before I started my blog and YouTube channel. What’s great about it is it’s basically a reverse sale where most sales happen at the end of a season with merchandise that didn’t sell. The Nordstrom Sale puts out all their fall merchandise even before most other stores do, and marks it down during the time period of the Anniversary Sale. Then goes back to regular price as the fall season begins. I’m very excited to share my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale try on haul with you guys today!
This year’s selection has a variety of girly, feminine pieces – some are very unique and others are great basics for your staple wardrobe. If you haven’t checked out my YouTube video where I share my best tips for shopping the sale, be sure to check that out here. I also discussed some tips and tricks on a blog post here.

Try On Haul
Denim Looks with Booties
We’re kicking things off with a few denim looks. The first outfit on the left is a beautiful, elevated look for an everyday fall outfit. This teddy coat is a great wardrobe staple because you can style it many ways. I have it paired with these Kut from the Kloth jeans, but you could also pair it with a dress or skirt. The jeans have a lot of stretch to them and love the on-trend straight leg and slight distressing. They’re 40 percent off during the sale at only $59. I paired it with casual, creamy-white booties.
The second outfit features another pair of Kut from the Kloth jeans. These are skinny jeans with a darker wash. I’d suggest having both a straight leg jean and skinny jean to wear different styles of shoes. They fit true to size and again at a great price point. These jeans pair well with these split top, neutral booties, which are great for fall to wear with just about anything – casual dresses, denim and skirts. This fitted sweater is a great option to wear for everyday and for work and has a good medium length. The teddy jacket is a beautiful french-vanilla color with a three-snap-button detail.

Denim look with pumps
I love wearing denim with heels. This is a great look to wear on a date night. This faux-suede motto jacket is a drapey cut and fits true to size. I’m wearing a soft blush, lace cami underneath, which is a great transition piece from work to night by swapping the pants and jacket. I paired it with neutral pumps or you could pair with a heeled sandal too.

Sweater Dress Looks
The first sweater dress on the left is a dressier sweater dress, great for work or to go out to dinner. It’s fully lined and the stitching on it is gorgeous. The balloon sleeves give it a fun detail. I paired it with this white Coach bag with the antique gold hardware. It’s under $100, so it’s a great price point for a designer bag. These beige slouchy booties are beautiful paired with this sweater dress, and come in four other colors.
This beautiful soft brown color sweater dress is a great casual option. It also comes in black. I love how it looks with these black booties, which are under $50! The dress is a great transition piece from summer to fall because you could pair with strappy sandals or even mules or flats. And don’t skip on looking at this initial gold necklace I purchased from Bracha. It’s a beautiful, simplistic necklace to layer with other necklaces or wear alone.

Leather and Suede Skirt Looks
This first look on the left is so chic, great for date night or if you’re out and about in the city or even just an everyday fall look. The burgundy sweater is a great medium to longer length to wear with jeans or paired with skirts. It’s very soft and not itchy at all. I front tucked the sweater into this gorgeous suede skirt. It’s a great option to have for your fall wardrobe to pair with sweaters, blazers or cardigans. The skirt runs true to size. I also have on the Gorjana Coin Pendant necklace, which is one of my favorite jewelry brands Nordstrom carries.
Can we talk about this gorgeous hot pink coat? This gives me total Emily in Paris vibes, if you’ve ever seen that Netflix show. It’s a fun pop of color for a neutral outfit. I have it paired with the a light gray sweater. It’s a crop length, so it’s great to pair with a skirt or high-rise jeans. This faux leather skirt is super on-trend right now. We’re seeing lots of leather in the fashion world, so this is a great option to incorporate that material into your wardrobe.

Black Dress Pant Looks
Switching to workwear options, these black dress pants are comfortable! If you’re sitting for long periods of time at work, these are great to wear because they have lots of stretch, but look very structured and modern. They also don’t wrinkle easily. They fit and feel like a dream, and are mid to high rise. I paired it with a blush pink blouse. This blouse runs pretty big and recommend sizing down. I layered it with this gorgeous cardigan that would again be great for the office because typically offices are on the cooler side. I finished the look with this year’s style mules by Steve Madden. They have a chunkier chain and are very comfortable if you’re out and about for your job often or have to stand often.
The outfit on the right is very chic and feminine. I love this cardigan coat. It’s buttery soft and very comfortable. It’s under $80 and love the slouchy look of it. It looks and feels effortlessly chic. I love the tie detail to accentuate your waistline. I paired it with some pumps, but again could pair with high-heeled sandals.

Pajama and Lounge Looks
There’s nothing like great lounge clothes. The outfit on the left is perfect for errands on the weekends or hanging out at home. I pick up a few of these basic t-shirts every year. For $12.90, you really can’t beat the price. They come in so many colors, and love them as layering pieces for denim jackets and cardigans. They’re a medium to long length. I paired them with these gray joggers and sneakers.
These Nordstrom brand pajamas are a great quality and feel very luxurious. These are another thing I buy every year and make great gifts. They fit true to size and love the piping that goes down the front. They come in the shorts option too if long pants aren’t your vibe. These slippers are from last year’s sale but did link the sandal Ugg and slip- on Ugg slippers included in this year’s sale. And can’t forget to pickup a Barefoot Dreams blanket to go along with the pajamas. They’re a top seller throughout the entire sale every year, and worth every penny.

Maxi Dress Look
The colors of this dress are perfect for fall, and I love the beautiful floral pattern. It fits like a midi dress on me, but they’re calling it a maxi dress. I’m 5’7″, so wanted to mention that if you’re on the taller side too. It has a smocked detail at the elbow and waist, and then a pretty ruffle detail at the end of the sleeves. It runs true to size. I paired it with these dressier white booties. You could also pair this dress with sandals if it’s still a bit on the warm side or a pair of pumps. You could also throw on a jacket, like this moto jacket we talked about earlier. It gives the dress an edgy look and love the balance of the feminine dress with the bold jacket.
