OUTFITS I WORE IN NYC + TRIP RECAP

I am so excited to sit down and finally share my outfits + recap of my recent trip to New York City! This was sort of a last minute for me and booked the hotel a few days before I left! Below is what I did + what I wore along with mini reviews of each restaurant we ate at!

SATURDAY AFTERNOON

LUNCH | THE SOSTA

First stop after dropping off all our bags at our hotel was some food because we were quite hungry after traveling! I was doing some research on pretty nyc restaurants and this one popped up. It’s called The Sosta. If you like Italian food (and pretty quickly prepared too) you’ll probably like this place. I wouldn’t say it was by absolute favorite meal ever but it was pretty good! I got the traditional pasta- it had a little spicy flavor to it. They also have pasta substitutes such as zucchini noodles! The aesthetic was my favorite part! All pink and white😍. MEETING | SEAMORE’S

After lunch I had a meeting with my rewardStyle rep, Marie. We originally planned to meet at a coffeeshop called Happy Bones but we didn’t realize how tiny it was inside so we went a few doors down to a seafood restaurant called Seamore’s.

SNACK | LADUREE

After my meeting, I stopped back at the hotel to change then headed out with my mom to grab a snack. We stopped at one of our favorite locations and I got a macaroon. It was my very first macaroon and I have to say it was delicious! I got the raspberry flavor and highly recommend it. They have SO many flavors it was so hard to choose! We also got a hot tea because it was getting a little chilly out.

SUNDAY MORNING

BREAKFAST | THE BUTCHER’S DAUGHTER

Early Sunday morning, my mom and I wanted to check out a highly recommended restaurant that has a really healthy menu called The Butcher’s Daughter. It was an amazing breakfast. (see photo below😋) I got the Weekend Waffles that had rice flour and almond milk with an amazing local berry compote. Check out their menu here. My mom got the smashed avocado and I tried some and it was amazing too. TIP: Go Early if you don’t want to wait. We got there around 9 and it was pretty empty but by the time we were leaving there was a line to get in and was pretty packed- even outside when it was raining.

SHOPPING | SOHO

SOHO is one of my favorite places to shop- We went down Broadway and shopped at Madwell, Aritzia, Victoria’s Secret, Sephora… So many good stores!

SUNDAY AFTERNOON

LUNCH | PIETRO NOLITA

One of my favorite lunch spots in New York City (should probably branch out haha 🙂 is Pietro Nolita. It’s a super tiny so more than likely, you’re going to have to wait. There’s probably a total of only 10-12 tables but definitely worth the wait. We always get the Fusilli Pasta al Limone. So tasty 🙂 And the aesthetic is so cute- everything is pink, including the bathroom! Check out their menu here.

SNACK/DESSERT | TAIYAKI

I found this ice cream shop that has Coconut soft serve ice cream. It was pretty good- not super creamy, more ice-y if that makes sense. It was good just not as amazing as the So Delicious ice cream I’m used to 😉 Maybe their regular ice cream is better! Check it out here.

SUNDAY EVENING

DINNER | BUBBY’S RESTAURANT

You’ll probably never guess where I found this restaurant suggestion. I once saw an article on Taylor Swift’s favorite places to eat in NYC and this was one of them. So I thought, it must be good!! And it was😍. Their menu is a mix of healthy and well… not so healthy. I got the ground chicken burger that had zucchini and carrots in it and it was REALLY good. Highly recommend. It came with a side of fries and I had a few and they were really good as well. We were going to get a slice of their fresh apple pie but they were out. Check out their menu here.

MONDAY MORNING

It was raining pretty steady and was chilly out so we left early that day around 11. I stayed at the SOHO GRAND hotel and it was really nice! The rooms were clean and we loved the location of it. Definitely recommend if you are looking to stay in Soho area.
