Ultimate Guide to a Holiday Tablescape
3 Quick and Easy Recipes
I setup a chai tea and waffle station on my credenza in the dining room. For the chai tea station, I used this white and gold kettle to hold the hot water for the tea. It holds 1.7 liters, so it’s great to use for parties because you won’t have to keep refilling it often. Once you turn it on, it has a touch screen to adjust the temperature and other settings.
For the chai tea, you simply add hot water to your coffee mug and steep the tea bag for a few minutes. Then add honey, milk, whipped cream and cinnamon.
Chai Tea Ingredients
Tazo classic chai tea bags
Raw honey
Almond milk or milk of choice
Whipped cream (optional)
Cinnamon (optional)
I also setup a waffle station with a mix of sweeter toppings. I love doing a station when I’m having guests over, so they can customize whatever it is the host is serving. This gingerbreak mini waffle maker is so festive for the holidays. It would be the perfect Christmas morning breakfast idea too. My favorite waffle mix is the Simple Mills, and followed the directions on the box. Then, I arranged the waffles on these rectangle serving platters. In individual bowls, I put strawberries, blueberries, coconut pieces, maple syrup and chocolate chips for the waffle toppings.
Waffle Bar Ingredients
Simple Mills Waffle Mix
Pure maple syrup
Strawberries and blueberries
Coconut pieces
Chocolate chips
If you enjoy more savory foods, I also love making a potato waffle. All you need are potatoes and spices of choice. I used paprika and garlic powder on my potatoes.
Instructions for Savory Potato Waffle
1. Boil potatoes of choice until soft
2. Once cooled, remove the skins from the potatoes
3. Place the peeled potatoes in a bowl
4. Add your spices of choice
5. Mash with a fork or potato masher
6. Add the potatoes to the waffle maker

Festive Tablescape
Like my office holiday decor, I went with blush and gold colors for my holiday tablescape this year. It looks whimsical and classic, and the majority of these pieces you could use beyond the holidays.
For the place setting, I started with this beautiful gold charger that pops perfectly against the crisp white tablecloth. The charger is vinyl, so it’s going to clean easily too.
Next, I layered in a dinner and salad plate. These are my favorite plates from Walmart. The detailing gives them a vintage-chic vibe, and look more expensive than they actually are. They also come in three other colors. But I like this linen color because you can use it with a variety of different tablescape themes.
For the napkin, I found these velvet blush-pink napkins that look gorgeous against the linen-colored plates. I used this vine napkin ring that ties in well with the colors of the flatware and charger. Unfortunately, it’s sold out as a I type this. But did find some other pretty options HERE and HERE.
If you’re looking for a champagne-colored flatware set, these are such great quality for an affordable price. I bought a set of 12, so I could have extra if I’m having guests over.
Just like the dinnerware, these glass tumblers have such gorgeous details, Because they’re clear, the color works all year round and look so high-end for the price.
